I came across this book at the library and was instantly hooked.  It's a book of letters between a writer in New York and a London bookseller.  Perfect on fall nights, with tea in hand.

"I require a book of love poems with spring coming on.  No Keats or Shelley, send me poets who can make love without slobbering - Wyatt or Jonson or somebody, use your own judgement.  Just a nice book preferably small enough to stick in a slacks pocket and take to Central Park."  Helene Hanff

  1. That's such an interesting book concept. Reading other peoples letters always seems so sneaky.

Oh, and I had a question for you... what is your photo setup? These pictures are always so simple and the background so white!

  2. Hi Faith,

Reading letters belonging to someone else does kinda have a feeling of reading their diary.

I shoot everything in our loft. We have a wall of north facing windows which is lovely for even light. The background is just a white foam board. Hope this helps!

  8. Thank you so much for sharing this--I had never heard of this book. I still haven't read it, but I did watch the movie and I loved it! I can't wait to read the book now (I know, I know, I did it backwards!) Thanks again for sharing!
